I am an artist living and working in Cleveland, Ohio. I will graduate in May with a BFA in Printmaking and an Emphasis in Painting. I work in a range of media including paper-mache, lithography, intaglio, and monotype. Printmaking processes have been used throughout history as a means for recording and disseminating information about the so-called "natural world" (as if there could be any other kind). Many of my pieces exploit this historical link between printmaking and truth-making to expose how little these representations actually reveal to us. A dual anxiety and fascination about the unknown fuel my practice, along with a curiosity about metaphysics, natural history, and the psychology of the Self.
